Ecological disaster perpretated by government decree in Portugal

The brutal, indiscriminate culling of age-old trees,
is an ecological disaster.
The culling of huge mature, 200-year-old trees,
by the State railways, near Coimbra.
Capoula Santos, minister of Agriculture
and Eduardo Cabrita, Minister of Internal Affairs.

An ecological disaster is being perpretated in Portugal
by the indiscriminate cut of trees
of enormous dimensions.

In the beautiful mountain of Sintra, thousands of trees,
are destined to be savagely cut and destroyed.

Everywhere a person goes,
big trees, most older than a few hundred years,
are being cut down without any criteria,
or common sense.

Minister Eduardo Cabrita is enthusiastic about the mobilization
of the Portuguese and what he sees around him -
"and we still have until the end of May".
The GNR police are already in the field
to point out any non-compliance
and heavy fines will begin to be issued soon.

Prime Minister António Costa  threatened during a visit in Tondela
"municipalities have the right to take possession of the land
and to charge owners for the sale of the timber
and the exploitation of the land."
The threatening massive land-grap is planned in Portugal,
according to the Socialist Prime Minister, António Costa!!

A crime against the private property
and personal freedom laws of the Constitution!!

All these declarations are of an unthinkable bestiality,
a violence that will affect the lives of many poor people economically
and enter into the sphere of  a person's personal freedom.

By applying the law blindly, a house that has cleared
a perimetre of 50 meters around it, will have a slightly smaller fire risk,
than those that did not have a forest around it.
It will, however, now be surrounded by a semi-desert,
but with the same fire risk.
It is completely absurd to apply this law blindly,
to treat the whole territory as equal,
and cut down ever living tree.

The only winner in this mad absurdity,
is the Socialist-communist Government of António Costa.
Hereby, the government dismisses any responsibility
for any future fires or the loss of lives and property.
The only villians to blame, would be the poor, elderly landowners,
who did not clear their land.
Deforestation brigades are appearing everywhere,
 like mushrooms overnight,
starting to collect fortunes from the poor.

Minister Eduardo Cabrita is rubbing his cubby hands in contentment,
pointing out the "positive" side of the brutal deforestation plan,
praising the creation of many new jobs!
which can be of a permanent nature,
seeing that nature will automatically grow back
and deforestation will have to be done during the whole year.

Minister Capoulas Santos has proudly stated, some days ago,
that this is the largest forest cleaning operation "in 800 years of history".

Capoula also said, between the two great devastating fires of 2017,
that what the socialist-communist government is planning for Portugal,
could be "the greatest revolution the forest has known since the days of D. Dinis."
The disastrous fire in the Pine forest of Leiria, which was more than 700 years old,
seemed to have confirmed his profecy.

Soon Portugal will be a tree-less country,
without wild scubs or undergrowth
to give shelter to small mammals, reptiles
and nesting birds.

Portugal is facing a brutal ecological disater,
with an adittional threat to small landowners,
seeing that only properties of at least 100 hectares
will be allowed.

THE RICH WILL GET RICHER
AND THE POOREST WILL BE EXCLUDED
with no civil rights to their own property,
their own inherited lands,
Apart from the desertification caused by the devastation
of existing forests,
the human desertification of the interior of Portugal,
will be aggravated in a brutal way!!
