Socialist, João Soares, Minister of Cultural Affairs
Last Friday, João Soares, issued an ultimatum:
"The president of the CCB (Centro Cultural de Belém)
has to leave!
And if he does not leave,
I, will surely force him to resign on Monday,
using all the legal tools available to me.".
The Minister of Culture, appointed Elísio Summavielle,
deputy of his office in the Ministry,
as the new leader of the Centro Cultural de Belém,
to replace Antonio Lamas,
who was forced to resign in public.
Elísio Summavielle, 59,
appointed as deputy in the João Soares' office
at the Ministry of Culture,
who was a former Secretary of State,
with Gabriella Canavilhas as Minister of Culture,
in the last term of José Socrates government,
will have a gross income of 3184.13 euros,
is the next president of the Belém Cultural Centre (CCB)
in the place of Antonio Lamas.
After leaving the Socrates´government,
he was teaching at INATEL after working hours,
where he was appointed as director general of Cultural Heritage,
Summavielle resigned in November 2012, citing "personal reasons".
A month later, however, he was appointed as the socialist candidate
to the Mafra Municipality,
but ends up losing the municipal race by a wide margin:
by just getting 26.95% of the vote for the Socialists,
against 46.87% of the PSD.
The succession in the CCB began to be discussed,
after the government decided to extinguish the structure
whose mission was responsible for an integrated project
between the Belém-Ajuda axis,
with John Soares, finding grounds for accusing
Antonio Lamas, of an "imprudent" management.
But João Soares has a bullish character,
inherited from his father,
former PM and ex-President of the Republic,
well-known for their rude and uncultured manners.
and "dictator-like" tendencies.
and "dictator-like" tendencies.
There has always hung over their heads
the veiled accusation of gross corruption,
the veiled accusation of gross corruption,
diamond and arms smuggling from Angola,
both of them distastefully disrespectful of all and everyone,
acting as if they were the sole owners of democracy
and freedom in Portugal.
and freedom in Portugal.
Both belong to secret Masonic societies,
wheeling and dealing in many circles of influence.
Just a week or so ago,
João Soares´ son ,
was appointed as a deputy for cultural events
in the Lisbon Municipality,
with a €4,500 salary.
with a €4,500 salary.
With daddy, as the Minister of Culture,
of António Costa´s unelected socialist-communist government,
of António Costa´s unelected socialist-communist government,
it is easy to see how influence trading,
is used for personal gain.
António Costa was the former mayor
of the Lisbon Municipality.
And Portugal goes from one-scandal-to-another happily and gayly!!
