Duarte Pacheco, PSD deputy
The deputy of the PSD, Duarte Pacheco,
said today, in parliament, that the country was "on track"
with the options of the government PSD / CDS-PP,
without any need of "reversing policies",
commenting on data from the National Statistics Institute (INE).
"It just shows that the country was on the right track.
It also proved that in order to maintain a path to recovery,
it was not necessary to change direction, reverse policies,
thereby destroying international credibility and trust,
and, contrary to what the current Prime Minister, António Costa,
seems to defend, there is no need to invest in the internal market ",
Pacheco said in statements to the Lusa news agency.
According to the national statistics agency, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP)
grew 1.5% during 2015 and 0.2% in the last quarter of the year,
compared to the previous three months (in sequence)
and the Portuguese economy grew 1.3 % in the fourth quarter of the year,
in comparision with the previous year
(which had a growth of 1.4% in the previous quarter).
According to the Social Democratic parliamentarian deputy,
"the domestic market was already growing,
with the previous government´s policies,
without abandoning foreign markets nor exports"
and showed a "trust of the portuguese families and businesses"
and as a consequence,
there was an overall "decrease in unemployment."
"In 2015, Portugal's growth increased 1.5%,
more than in the previous five years,
more than the average of the first decade of this century
- "the socialist lost decade" -
and this growth was on all fronts:
Gross formation of fixed capital,
private consumption
(values equivalent to 2000)
and exports", he said.
So much for the socialist-communist slogans:
"Time for change";
"Turning of the page on austerity"
brought on by the socialist governance of José Socrates,
with António Costa number 2 of this famous corrupt governance,
"The beginning of a new prosperous era"
All pure bullshit!!
An absolute excuse for an assault on power,
losing the elctions, forming an unelected negative coalition,
losing the elctions, forming an unelected negative coalition,
to revert, cancel, destroy and revoke everything done
by the previous government,
sailing along in a precarious coalition,
held together by sharp barb wires,
and a radical ideological agenda,
threatening to fall apart at any moment.
