Costa: his promises (predictions) "advinhações"

"Job creation is not a promise, it is a prediction"

The general secretary, António Costa, of the PS, said today in Viana do Castelo, 

that he does not promise to create 207,000 jobs, 

but undertakes to put in place measures that will prioritize job creation.

Of good intentions, are the hell overcrowded.

A prediction = nothing is definite, because it depends on millions of circumstances.

Prediction is synonymous to: 

1) forecast: A calculation or estimate of future events, 

especially coming weather or a financial trend. 

2) an augury:- an omen - a sign of what will happen in the future:

they heard the sound as an augury of death 

3) a prognostication: - the action of prophesying future events

 4) divination: - the practice of seeking knowledge of the future 

or the unknown by supernatural means.

It was her involvement in astronomy and astrology 

that purportedly aligned her with black magic and divination.

5) prophecy: - say that a specified thing will happen in the future.

Costa is treading dangerous ground with his predictions, prophecies, divinations (advinhações), and auguries.

Nothing that inspires CONFIDENCE!
