Increasingly unfocused, confused, erratic, with a cronic sheer lack of leadership:

One day Costa promises the creation of 207,000 new jobs, 

the next day, he said it's only predictions or prophecies of the future

 Alexis Tsipras resigned, the supposedly only "hope of change in Europe" 

especially for the left-wing parties, and fully supported and embraced by António Costa

 Sampaio de Nóvoa, has been struggling to get the official support 

from the socialist party 

for his presidential candidacy bid.

 Imprisoned ex-PM (Socialists), made his 12th interview/letters 

to TV stations, in 9 months,

claiming to be a political prisoner,  

António Costa used to be his right-hand henchman

 Ex-socialist minister and lately ex-president of the Socialist Party, 

has decided to run for presidential candidate, 

confusing the already confused situation within the party, 

receiving great support from within the party, 

showing just how desunited the party is. 

With all these cases mounting up, nobody knows which way to turn any more.

The parliamentary leader of the PSD, Luís Montenegro, 

today said that the statements of the socialist secretary general 

about Manuela Ferreira Leite 

ends off a week of "total confusion" 

and what the PS says "no longer makes any sense."

"These statements come in a week 

in which total confusion raged in the midst of the PS. 

One day Costa made a promise and the next day he denied what he said. 

Costa commented on the management of the false posters, 

which he said was one slip of mind 

but confirmed that he agreed with its contents. 

He did the most unusual and outraging thing 

by presenting a former president of the PS (Maria de Belém Roseira) 

on a list of deputies for the legislative election in the morning 

and in the afternoon of the same day, 

that same former president (Maria de Belem)

submitted her bit for the presidential candidacy, "said Montenegro.

CONFUSING??

"The strange thing is that António Costa 

has not availed to express a programmatic proximity 

to Maria de Belém Roseira 

but chose to show himself very close to a former president of the PSD", 

considered Luis Montenegro.

"The PS is no longer making any sense in their declarations 

and does not contribute to the political clarification 

of the proposals on the table for the next elections." 

"The socialists are not prepared to govern Portugal," he said.
