António Galamba, socialist deputy
Socialists are in doubt about António Costa's proposals
presented as an alternative to the current coalition Government.
Claiming UNITY within the socialist party,
Costa are been critized more and more by his own deputies
and fellow socialists.
Discord and bickering, and the erratic behaviour of the
socialist leader, António Costa, has brought,
many socialists, to the brink of despair.
According to António Galamba,
Costa doesn't have any feet left, to shoot through,
and feet are important to keep a person upright, and stable
to make to correct decisions,
and follow on the narrow road.
For Antonio Galamba, António Costa
"has already taken so many shots in his feet"
that it is becoming more and more difficult to "build confidence"
among the people, who are looking for an alternative,
to the uncertainties they experienced in the last four years.
For the socialist, what the Portuguese have seen,
is that the leader of the PS,
a candidate with a lot of supposed "political experience",
committing a "succession of inconsistencies"
that shows the famous alternative 'pink' party in a very bad light."
And, continues Galamba, in 2014,
António Costa advocated "a raising of the minimum wage to 522 euros,"
now he doesn't want to "commit himself to any values."
Then he glued himself and the party, to the Syriza movement,
praising the idea of an alternative to austerity,
then changed his ideas saying that it is necessary to defend
"an alternative route but subject to limitations."
After the controversy of the false posters,
he just shook the water off his back as from the duck's back,
as if it had nothing to do with him or the party
"chosing scapegoats to camouflage his lack of political leadership
and his sheer incompetence."
Finally, the issue of presidential elections:
Costa said that the theme would only gain relevance
"after the parliamentary elections",
but at the same time showing a certain support for Sampaio of Nóvoa.
"An electoral malpractice," argues Antonio Galamba.
"The truth is that Costa no longer has enough feet left
for so many suicidal shots.
And the feet are essential to keep us upright,
in a vertical position to be able to stand up
to the challenges facing the country, he added.
