Extraordinary tax rates in France

Taxes on income of more than eight thousand French families
exceeded 100% last year,
according to the newspaper Les Echos.

According to the same source,
almost 12 thousand families also paid taxes
an equivalent of more than 75% of its 2011 income
and another 9,910 of French households were taxed last year,
on more than 85% of their income from the previous year.

The newspaper Les Echos justifies
that this was due to an extraordinary rate,
applied only last year,
which was imposed on estates of more than 1.3 million euros.

So much so for the "extraordinary" Socialist "Saviour" of Europe,
and extraordinary hero of Portuguese socialists!!
