In a interview on Monday night on RTP, state television,
Sócrates maintained his usual arrogance,
ranting on about the opposition parties' blame
in the current desperate economic situation.
Demolishing all who might criticize him,
or those who disagree with his plans,
not sparing the President of the Republic,
Socrates uses each and every dirty trick in the book
to discredit anyone who might wander into his
ambitious hold on power as the PM.
Whilst international ratings severely punish Portugal
he point-blankly REFUSES to ask for extrenal help,
out of foolhardy arrogance and personal pride
to solve the desperate
internal economic situation.
In just one day six banks suffered
harsh downgrades of their ratings,
with at least two banks now being considered as "trash".
With state companies, without cash or liquidity,
even for basics such as salaries;
private companies are going out of business in droves;
interest rates on the foreign debt
of short term loans trading at over 10%
the country has reached a critical point
of unsustainability.
Sócrates prefers to commit political suicide,
dragging the whole country to complete
and utter bankrupcy and despair.
As long as he, Mr PM saves his face,
he lives in a utopian country,
in utter stratosphere.
There is an URGENT need for a competent
and qualified psychiatrist,
to treat Socrates' psychosis.
PS: Psychosis = severe mental derangement,
especially when resulting in delusions and loss of external reality.
