Against all odds - bailout HELP!!

After being in DENIAL for months,
José Sócrates, was held up against the wall,
and shook out of his delusional state of denial.

Even so, he proudly continues to blame
everyone under the sun,
for his disastrous financial governance.

And made sure that his ticking timebomb
will explode in the face of the next elected government.

Today's auction of Portugal's debt,
at astronomic high interest rates,
becomes due in October,
just in time for the next state budget.
To dish up another billion euro,
out of the clear blue sky,
with severe austerity measure
already implemented
in the bankrupt country,
will prove impossible.

José's legacy of lies, corruption,
bad governance,
denial, manipulation,
and blackmail,
will be felt in Portugal
for generations to come.
