The duplicity duo

After giving the newly elected President of Portugal,

the cold shoulder

in a rude breach of protocol, on Wednesday,

as "punishment" for the President's inauguration speech

which heavily penalised the minority socialist

government of Socrates,

this duplicity duo

(Socrates and Socrates),

IGNORED the President,

send text messages to trade unions,

with whom they were supposedly negotiating,

and chose to make a new PEC 5 in Brussels,

trying to impress EU members

that they are operating miracles in Portugal

to control the public debt.

President Cavaco Silva said on Wednesday,

that there was a limit to the sacrifices

being asked of the portuguese.

Teixeira dos Santos announced

the freezing of pensions,

less unemployment subsidy,

easier laws for hiring and firing,

and an enormous list of austerity measures,

penalising the poor and the unemployed,

but NO MEASURES for the "fat-cats" of the government,

the Socialist Party "Boys"

and the 12,000 foundations

and public organitions

that sucks the country dry

of all its financial resourses,

already paying more than 8%

interest rates on the national debt.

Technically Portugal is BANKRUPT,

but to look good in the EU picture,

this duplicity duo,

has taken unilateral measures,

in secret.
