More than 30 militants of the PS of Pedrógão Grande
ask "immediate disaffiliation" from the socialist party.
The militants wrote to the president of the PS, Carlos César,
on Tuseday to denounce "violations and confusion"
of the party's statutes,
in the process of choosing the candidates
for the local city council, but not only.
Attention to the return of debt
Debt is back.
We must remember the mistakes made
in the first decade of the 21st century,
because the party of spending and contracting debt was fabulous.
Debt does not just disappear.
Believing in this fantasy,
many countries fall into the hands of the creditors.
The latest public debt figures, released by the Bank of Portugal,
put the current value of Portugal's public debt
at the threshold of 250 billion euros,
almost one and a half times of that what we produce annually,
25 thousand euros for each Portuguese.
It is always unpleasant to take on the role
of that person who spoils the party.
But if many of the alerts, given in the past were heeded,
today Portugal would have had fewer problems.
In the great debt boom of the beginning
of this twenty-first century,
everything seemed possible
and nobody wanted to hear anything.
The warnings, about the possibility of falling house prices,
were left unheeded, as it was explained
that there was no problem with the debt of the families
because they had the goods - in this case the houses.
This last "rationalization"
was often made by those responsible for our economic policy.
But, faced with the degradation of the state,
the regime and the non-governance of the Socialist Party
(without any dignity, any responsibility
and happily on the way to a new bankruptcy).
Passos was a STATESMAN.
The governance of the PS + PCP + PEV + BE,
will lead Portugal to a new pre-bankruptcy,
GDP growth is almost all based on international tourism alone
and the debt increase in 2017 is worrying,
bringing Portugal close to the backrupcy
of Mr. Socrates' governance.
Since the beginning of 2017, the area of forests
that were burned by wildfires,
in Portugal, are 6 times more extensive
than that of the last decade.
The Portuguees are fed-up
with this non-governance of the socialists-marxist extremists.
Gentlemen, please, just disappear!
Gentlemen of the government, municipalities,
civil protection and the security forces:
please be quiet!
Respect, for once, the victims who you could not save,
the mourning of those who mourn their dead,
the sorrow of those who have lost everything.
Please respect that pain that, even though it is not yours,
is very much ours too.
Rulers, please disappear!
Spokespersons for the government, municipalities,
civil protection and security forces:
please just shut up!
Everyone is burning with indignation for what,
unfortunately, is nothing more than a sad show,
a drama turned into a tragicomedy.
Worse yet, a lack of respect
for the true victims of these catastrophes,
a clamorous lack of a sense of state
of our highest individualities,
a demonstration of the notorious incompetence
of our technicians,
who are experts in shaping responsibilities
- as we know, officially,
the fire was caused by lightning rays and the eucalyptus trees!
- and not coming up with ANY solutions on howto end a tragedy
that is repeated every year with dramatic punctuality.
It's just too much!
It's just too much and ... too many people.
And less competence.
There is no person, no matter how insignificant his function is,
who does not appear, who does not intervene,
who does not vomits his opinion,
who does not cry before the television cameras,
who does not put his mouth in front of the microphones
for chit-chat, who does not let himself be photographed
with the victims who were carbonized.
At such moments a person feels like saying to these politicians,
who seek notoriety at the expense of the misfortunes of others,
what Mário Soares once told the agents of authority = the police:
Disappear!
It is no less sad, and no less ridiculous,
to watch our politicians' posing as models
on the television newsstand,
displaying the latest model of reflective vests.
Why do they pretend to be operative of whatever, what or when,
by the way, are they just walking idly around in 'the theater of operations' ?!
Yes, for them, dressed in this carnivalesque disguise,
pretending a competence they manifestly do not have,
is nothing more than a staging a tragic comedy,
in which there are no tears,
the poignant confessions of those suffering,
of course, they do not feel anything.
Because true pain is lived, on the contrary,
in mourning, in modesty, in silence, and for believers in prayer.
No one can be blamed for not feeling the pain of others as their own,
but at least respect those who are suffering
and spare them the sad figures of these bad guys parading
as good guys in a terrible play of make-belief.
Another recurring excess in this drama:
for every firefighter in action, there are at least five spokespeople.
If the percentage were the reverse,
one informer for every five firefighters,
there probably would be as many fires,
and it would not take 4 or 5 days to control the fires.
But no, they all have to appear, everyone has to give their opinion,
everyone has to speak: the government speaks,
by the voice of the prime minister
or the minister of the internal administration;
The municipalities speak, by the people of their presidents,
surely on the electoral campaign;
The Civil protection speaks; the firemen;
the Republican National Guard!
Not only do they all speak simultaneously about it,
but they still enjoy contradicting themselves:
the mayor says that the fire is extinct,
but the firefighters say that it is only partially in the aftermath,
while the civil protection guarantees the opposite.
For some, the fire is in one municipality,
but for others it is in the next,
where the flames are already burning.
At eleven in the morning
it was reported that a fire-fighting plane had crashed,
but at noon it is stated that, after all, no aircraft had crashed.
An extinct fire for one entity,
is only in the process of resolving for another
because there is no uniformity in the information
and everyone wants to have a vote on the matter.
Everyone speaks and no one is right,
because they lack authority and coordination.
The way that political power deals with,
what is considered the fourth power
- the media -
reveals that rulers are more prone to praise,
albeit merely servile, than criticism.
A truth that finds support in human nature.
Censurship has become the rule of the day!
