Guterres on bended knees in front of Israel and the USA

The UN Secretary-General's Executive Secretary 

of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), 

resigned today after the Secretary-General, António Guterres, 

asked her to withdraw a report, 

where she accuses Israel 

of committing "apartheid" against the Palestinians.

The report, published on Wednesday, 

was prepared by ESCAP, which included 18 Arab countries, 

and is the first time a UN organization 

accuses Israel of creating an apartheid state.

"Israel has established an apartheid regime 

that dominates the Palestinian people as a whole," 

the report reads.

On Thursday, António Guterres asked the Executive Secretary, 

Rima Khala, to withdraw the report, 

something which the Jordanian refused to do.

"The secretary-general asked me yesterday [Thursday],

 to withdraw [the report]. 

I asked him to reconsider his decision, but he insisted, 

so I resigned my position from the UN," 

Rima Khala explained at a press conference. 

Today, when the report was no longer available on the ESCAP's website, 

a UN spokesman, Stephane Dujarric told reporters, 

that the document had been published, 

without consulting the secretariat.

On Thursday, the United States demanded, 

that the UN withdraw the report, 

something the authors had already expected.

"It was expected that Israel and its allies,

 would put enormous pressure on the Secretary-General

 to relinquish the report," said Rima Khala.

She said the document was the first UN report,

 highlighting "the crimes that Israel continues to commit,

 against the Palestinian people, 

which represents crimes against humanity."

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has been 

one of the most sensitive issues in the mandate of António Guterres.

In December, 

the Security Council passed a resolution condemning Israeli settlements, 

prompting the then-President-elect, Donald Trump to promise,

 that "things would be different" in the UN, 

when he took office.

Promise fulfilled. 

Trump gives orders to Guterres, 

and as the weakling Guterres is, 

he can't stand up to a bully, 

and give in to TWO BULLIES;

Israel and the USA of Trump!!

What a bloody joke, if it wasn't so tragic!!

The continued crimes of Israel

creating a prison State, 

the crimes against humanity, 

and an apartheid system; 

should be vehemently condemned!!
