The faces of the players of the gamble of radical Portugal´s politics

The communist leader, Jeronimo Sousa,
has to swallow many a big, slimy bull frog,
to keep the socialists in power
Mário Centeno, the socialist minister of Finance,
says there will be a phased-out period of adjustment
to the 35 hour working week for civil servants...

...while António Costa made a public press conference statement,
unauthorizing his Minister of Finance, Mário Centeno,
saying the 35 hour working week will come into effect 1 st of June 2916

The Socialists do not guarantee shorter hours for the public employees
with individual employment contracts.
The radical BE and PCP (Communists),
wave the radical leftist agreement signed,
to keep António Costa afloat, under his nose.
The costs in the Health Department
will soar to 27 million euros,
only in the first quarter.

Just ten days short of the final overall vote, scheduled for May 27,
the date for the vote on the diploma
which would reduce to 35 working hours for the civil servants,
there is a clear clash between the radical left-wing parties,
that support the government and the socialist Executive.
The radical Block and the Communist Party (PCP)
criticized the last-minute changes proposed by the PS,
which opens the door to a phased implementation of the 35 hours
which does not resolve a claim of the radical left parties:
to include all civil servants,
even those who have individual contracts of employment.

Commentaries:

1) In shock are the Portuguese, who have to work 40 hours a week
just to keep the vices of these priviledged civil servants,
many of whom have millionaire´s salaries.
There is no shame in the face of these radical sect.
But it's not a big surprise, to many of us,
that the left are only worried about the poor "slaves"
of the civil servants.
And the rest of society has is to work to maintain them,
and pay ... and never complain.
The state is theirs:
the tax money belongs to the Socialists,
the special handouts are for the Communists,
and the morals and hypocrisy belongs to the radical BE
and taxes are ours,
the private sector.

2) Comrades, the 35 hours a week is correct,
as well as the increase in salary for the public servants.
When the money-flow ends, it´s easy:
just increase the taxes on the fuel,
we have to turn the page on austerity.
The rich must pay for the crisis.

3) This is a shocking shame! A scandal!
In Portugal there are First class Workers (public sector)
and the rest are second class citizens (the Private Sector).
Where is the equality and the fairness?

4) WHAT IS THE AVERAGE AMOUNT OF AN OLD AGE PENSION?
The general scheme of the Social Security, the average pension is € 459.39.
As for the pensions of the civil servants,
paid through the General Retirement Fund of the State,
have an average value of € 1, 280.95

With interest rates soaring, as well as unemplyment,
Export decreasing by the day, with the everlasting
strike by port workers,
the introduction of an enormous fuel tax,
causing difficulties for industy and citizens,
the EU Commission considering applying sanctions
and cutting financing to Portugal, because of its excessive deficit,
the radicals rushing into laws all their radical agendas,
as fast as possible,
the country is fast, but surely,
falling into misery, yet again.
