The sinister egocentric coward, Santos Silva.

Augusto Santo Silva,
the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs

The newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs,
Augusto Santos Silva, is a sinister character.

After recently being sacked from the Television channel TVI24,
where Santos Silva had a weekly programme of commentary,
where he proved to be extremely rude,
using the programme for socialist propaganda.

Sérgio Figueiredo,
the information director of the television channel,
justified why he ended the collaboration agreement with
the socialist political commentator,
by writing in his usual article of opinion in the "Diario de Notícias",
"not because his voice was annoying,
but simply because Santos Silva has been extremely rude".

Santos Siva wrote on his Facebook page,
some pretty insulting words as to why he was dismissed.

Figueiredo entitled his weekly cronicle in the newspaper:
"To finish off with the pathetic and depressing monologue,"
where he refuted point by point the views expressed by Santos Silva,
pointing out that "the freedom of expression wasn´t an issue,
but it was all about decency of ethics that both proclaim.
But there are limits to everything", he said.
After a long prologue in which Silva reflected on cowardice,
corruption, blatant lies and narcissism,
without naming to whom it might relate,
the chief offer of information at TVI,
says he considered himself to be the target
of a "persistent, insistent, obsessively slanderous" campaign,
where he is accused of censorship, arrogance and cowardice.

Sérgio Figueiredo revealed the contents of an e-mail sent to
Augusto Santos Silva on the 18th of June,
in response to Silva´s complaints about constant line-up changes,
reiterating his intention to keep Silva as a commentator on TV,
but that the new style the management want to imprint on the television channel,
implies more flexibility, so that last minute events,
and their analysis will be given precedence over fixed programmes,
as was the case of the former Socialist minister -
now newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs!!~

(A COMPLETE JOKE
as Santos Silva knows bullshit of diplomacy).

The information officer of TVI also suggested a meeting for conversation,
between himself, Silva and the journalist, Paulo Magalhães,
who presented the programme, to try to find a solution,
where the problems experienced by Santos Silva,
could be alliviated.

Apparently, in answer to these e-mails,
according to Sérgio Figueiredo,
were simply more attacks, accusing him
of "hypocritical cynicism and unscrupulousness",
and were basically aimed to "make a case".

Statements that Santos Silva made, in direct on TVI24,
about this case, accusing Figueiredo of being a coward,
were the last straw.

Figueiredo asked: "Who is the coward in this sordid story?
Who attacks behind the back?
Who scores in a private conversation, throwing rocks,
without warning and without any shame?
Who calls into question a friend,
leading a programme in direct on TV,
and are then taken aback by the blatant attacks
Silva was doing to Figueiredo´s direction and the company he works for?
And how does one qualify a man,
who comes into your house,
sits down at your table, accepts a plate of food,
offered to him,
and then rudely spitting on the floor,
refusing to come clean, and then tries to assume
to be the victim of the whole situation?"
askes Sérgio Figueiredo.

"There are limits to everything and, to date,
I have avoided to participate in this sordid, depressing
and pathetic exercise of victimization,"
cconcluded the chief information officer of TVI,
according to whom the behaviour of Santos Silva
"reveals his self-centred, egocentric vile character"

Now Santos Silva is the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs
of the "illegitimate, unelected government" of António Costa,
with diplomatic immunity,
to spit his venon on whoever he pleases,
having the power to even closing down the TVI channel,
if he so pleases.

A siniter, cynical, dangerous man.
