José Sócrates - the whole country in suspense for hours awaiting....more severe legal enforcement measures

Never in Sócrates´ wildest dreams did the ex-PM of Portugal,

imagine that the mega-Justice Campus, built and inaugurated by himself,

would serve its purpose to detain and interrogate him on charges of 

fiscal fraude, money-laundering, and corruption.

 Another irony of the case is, 

that Sócrates is daily driven

 to and from the Justice Campus in a plain Renault Clio, 

Just months before, Francisco Assis 

(now a socialist euro-deputy),

sarcastically retorted that how can anyone even suggest

that a portuguese socialist parliamentary deputy
should be obliged to drive 

his own simple Renault Clio!!

Instead these deputies drive top range
State Audis or Mercedes Benzes, 

with motorist included, 

on the taxpayer's money!!

Every dog gets his day!!

Even a ride or two in an old Renault Clio, 

photographed and transmitted
by hundreds of international TVs 

and journalists from all over the world.

What a Clio-humiliation it must be for the arrogant Sócrates!!
