PS in panic reaction presents useless motion of non-confidence in Parliament

In a jerky reflex reaction to arch-rival former PM José Sócrates' return to Portugal,

the socialist party presented a non-confidence motion in Parliament, 

knowing beforehand that it will be rejected by the governmental majority vote.

Carlos Zorrinho, PS whip, 

says the censure motion seeks to overthrow the government of Passos Coelho 

and to change policies.

"A new agreement that does not include this government, 

nor this majority, nor this Prime Minister", 

which will provide the opportunity to present "an alternative way" to the country".

"In parliament there is a majority that is contrary to what we have been proposing, 

but in the country there exists a huge majority of citizens 
who are in favor of a new recipe." 

The motion shows that "we are ready to apply it." 

We want to "show the Portuguese that there is an alternative 

and a different path, 
which can not be blocked by this majority," 

he said, referring to the PSD and CDS.

The problem is that in a year and a half, 

the Socialists have 
NOT BEEN ABLE
to provide 

ANY LIGHT ON WHAT THIS ALTERNATIVE 
PATH CONSISTS OF.

The country has been held in total darkness, 

as to this nature of this ultra-secret alternative path,

this new miraculous recipe.

ONLY LUNATICS 

would take the suicidal leap of voting in total blindness 

for an unknown, secret Socialist recipe or path.

This jerky irrational Socialist reaction

is only fruit of a panic reaction to José Socrates!!

The parliamentary socialist group 
is deeply devided by Sócrates supporters,

in opposition to Seguro supporters.

Hence the PANIC ATTACK!!
