José Sócrates, ex-PM of Portugal
has been appointed consultant of the Swiss firm,
Octapharma,
 for the Latin-America region.
Between 2004-2008 about 800 millions of euros
were embezzeled from
public funds in Brazil, in a fraudulent scheme,
where Octapharma inflated prizes
way over market prices for their plasma products
used especially by haemophilics.
Many important public servants of Brazil
were involved in this scandal, known as the "Vampire Mafia".
In 2008, the brazilian public prosecutor,
banned all future negociations,
between Octapharma e Political power.
During the reign of ex-president Lula da Silva of Brazil,
ex-PM José Sócrates were great friends and allies.
Now Sócrates emerges as a senior consultant for Octapharma,
meeting with the current brazilian Minister of Health.
During Mr. Sócrates' regime as PM of Portugal,
especially between 2005 and 2011,
Octapharma earned more than 6 million euros
in private concessions made by the socialist government,
without any public tender,
for the Cury Cabral, Setubal and Coimbra hospitals.
In these hospitals more than 50%
of blood and plasma derivatives,
were supplied by Octapharma.
These "dangerous" previous and present links
with the Octapharma and the Vampire Mafia,
confirms the Biblical wisdom:
"Can an Ethiopian change his skin or the leopard his spots?
Neither can you do good who are accustomed to doing evil"
Jeremiah 13:23 (NIV 1984)
