RTP - liberty of choice

RTP,
the Portuguese State television,
costs much more €200 million per year
to tax-payers.

Apart from the millions of euros,
in the form of an audio-visual tax,
which every household,
is forced to pay in their electricity bill.

To the hysterical choir of protesters
against the privatization of one of RTP's channels,
it is acceptable if they,
(the hysterical protesters)
are willing to sustain such an enormous drain
on Portugal's meger resources,
just DON'T COUNT ON ME!!

I DON'T WATCH RTP's BORING PROGRAMMES
of football and cruel, bloody bull fights,
their unending talk-shows about unimportant trivial things,
their stupid contests etc.

WHY am I forced to contribute with my hard-earned taxes to the millionaire salaries of futile TV"stars"?

WHY don't I have a choice to pay or not to pay
a audio-visual tax on my electricity bill??

With NO LIBERTY OF CHOICE
there can't be democracy!!
