As a supreme example,
Dr. Conrad Murray, was arrested in court,
after being sentenced to 4 years for involuntary manslaughter,
which caused the death of Michael Jackson.
He was immediately arrested after the guilty verdict was read in court.
Wouldn't that be amazing if Portuguese Justice
could be as swift and as efficient in arresting convicted criminals,
right there in court, straight after the guilty verdict,
instead of the ridiculous situation in Portugal,
where those who were sentenced to prison sentences,
are still freely walking the streets, going on exotic summer holidays,
writing books and giving TV interviews??
Of these famous cases,
some prominent names come to mind,
especially those sentenced in the pedophile case of Casa Pia:
Carlos Cruz was sentenced to 7 years;
Carlos Silvino was sentenced to 18 years;
Manuel Abrantes was sentenced to 5 years and 9 months;
Jorge Ritto was sentenced to 6 years and 8 months;
Ferreira Diniz was sentenced to 7 years;
and Hugo Marçal was sentenced to 6 years and 2 months.
WHY ARE THESE CRIMINALS,
WHO WERE SENTENCED TO PRISON
STILL FREE??
ONLY Carlos Silvino is in prison,
because he is poor and couldn't afford millionaire lawyers,
like the rest of his fellow criminals.
Just one feeble example of the miserable JUSTICE OF PORTUGAL!!
