"Injustice" in the Ministry of Justice.

An investigation found that the Ministry of Justice

has paid out 165 thousand euros in compensation subsidies to dead magistrates.

The grant of compensation is the most significant salary supplement

(39 million euros in 2009 in a universe over four thousand magistrates).

According to the report of the IGF, despite being contrary to law,

the auditee - Ministry of Justice - also made payments

in excess of 28,800 euros (from 2008 to March 2010)

compensation as a supplement to salary,

for the work to recover procedural delays,

to justice officials whose rank was inferior to "Good".

"Given the absence of joint decisions between the Ministers of Finance and Justice, the allocation of allowances (a total of 349 thousand euros paid out) is questionable, to a variable number of between 337 and 346 secretaries of Justice (or substitutes) after January 1, 2009 ", reads the report.
Any wonder that Portugal needs external help, when NOBODY is held accountableand endless money is paid outwithout any justification!!
