The priviledges of the Public State companies, controlled by the Trade Unions

The underground (Metro) in Lisbon
has been on eight 24-hour strikes so far this year

Causing terrific rush hour congestion and thousand of people unable to get to work

Public State companies, those where money is used without any control,
are those which are installed in the so-called "labour aristocracy",
for example: The Metro; CP (Railways); TAP (the airways), etc. etc.

Portugal is a country of game reserves, or rather higher or lower castes.

Salaries at the METRO are of "the princes of a miserable country"
which were made by the TRADE UNIONS.
Really?
Here are some examples of the wages of the Lisbon Metro workers,
who strikes for any unlikely reason like I would drink morning coffee ...

Here are some examples:

Secretary of Administration - € 3,753.59 p/ month
Master Locksmith - € 2,969.30 p/month
Maneuver Machinist  - € 2,785.17 p/month
Machinist - € 2,587.25 p/month
Supervisor/Inspector - € 2,020.66 p/month
Motorist - € 1,939.09 p/month
Traffic Agent  - € 1,642.41 p/month
Designer - € 1,547.09 p/month
Assistant - € 1,476.86 p/month

Machinists also receive a subsidy
ranging between €317 and €475.50 just for opening and closing the train doors.
Train drivers only drive 3 hours per day.

The metro officials,
in similarity to that what happens with the employees of Carris and Transtejo,
when they retire, receive a pension that is equal to the last salary received as an asset;
when they are on sickleave, they are entitled to medical care at home
and still receive 100% of their salary;
The machinists are entitled to a special allowance for each kilometer they travel,
plus 68 euros for not being absent for more than five hours per month
and when not absent during the whole month,
they receive an extra a premium of €223.

So they get paid a special subsidy or bonus
for not being absent during a working day or working month!!

Employees and pensioners travel for free,
as well as their spouses, their parents, their children, their step-children
and their brothers or sisters.
As a result of this uncontrolled expenditure of the taxpayers' money,
the deficit of this public company was more than €390 million last year ..

What is this government waiting for,
to end this "workers aristocracy"
installed in the trade Unions,
that causes these continuious strikes,
in strict obedience to radical left-wing parties' agendas,
hurting the working class poor and the unemployed?

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!
