Costa and his legacy at the Lisbon Municipality

As the mayor of Lisbon municipality he employed:

349 architects; 
101 social workers; 
175 managers; 
79 psychologists; 
32 designers; 
114 sociologists; 
149 graduates in marketing; 
268 civil engineers; 
161 historians; 
54 geographers;  
316 lawyers,
 whose services were supposed to be advising 
on the opinions that the CML ordered from private law offices.

António Costa, the Socialist leader, and canditate for PM, 

 earned about 7,700 euros a month 
on a television programme called: "Squaring of the Circle" (Quadratura do Circlo) 
and says he paid 1,100 euros per month for two years, 
for a new duplex at Av. Da Liberdade in Lisbon.
