Costa wants to resussitate the "great successes" of the Sócrates' governance

António Costa, candidate as Portugal's next PM

In a speech for Socialist militants,
Costa accussed the government of Passos Coelho,
of destroying all the "successful projects"
of the previous socialist government of José Sócrates,
like the "New Opportunities" for adult education;
"The renovation of the public schools."

The estimated cost per unit of each work of reconstruction
of the Public School system,
increased by over 400% since 2007,
having reached an estimated 15.45 million euros,
according to the Minister of Education and Science.
Tax payers still has to foot the bill.

The minister said that one of the conclusions of the audit,
which is finished but not fully disclosed yet,
is that the estimated cost per unit, for each school,
rose from 2.82 million euros in 2007, to 15.45 million euros today,
an increase of 447%.
It is "an enormous cost increase,"
costs which were destined for at least 327 other schools.

The Public School System illegally authorized
an expenditure of almost 260 million euros (256.3 million)
by failing to submit construction contracts
and supply and rental of goods and services
that should have been previously audited by the Court (TC).
Of these 236.5 million euro has already been illegally paid,
according to the TC's report on the Public School system.

One of the GREAT SUCCESSES of the socialist governance
a rise in cost of at least 447%,
illegal payments and corruption!
One of the companies which directly benefitted
from this corruption the Lena Group,
has its administrator, Carlos Santos Silva,
as well as the ex-PM, Sócrates,
in prison, on corruption, money-laundering
 and tax evasion charges!

Between 2006 and 2010, more than a million people
enrolled in the New Opportunities programme,
which attributed more than 400,000 certifications.
More than € 1,800 million was invested
in the New Opportunities programme since its inception.

Passos Coelho called the programme:
the "certification of incompetence",
because the courses had no practical value,
people were NOT prepared for the job market,
the courses were of extremely inferior quality,
costing the tax payer millions of millions euros.

Another GREAT SUCCESS of the Socialist governance!!

As in the picture:

RESUSSITATING A DEAD FISH
REALLY HAS A DISGUSTING SMELL!
