Socialist Hollande saviour of Europe?

Before Hollande's recent election as President of France,
portuguese socialists were euphoric at the "so-called future saviour of Europe"
and solving all of its problems.

In only 4 months time,
Hollande's impopularity has reached unknown heights
for a newly-elected president:
more than 59% of French are dissatisfied with his presidency.

59% unhappy!!

Hollande has just announced the biggest fiscal cuts in the last 30 years.

With an enormous tax hike for the tax-payer
and especially for families and companies,
of more than 20 billion euros,
the French State is desparately trying to balance their budget deficit.

Faced with the deterioration of the economy,
the French government is forced to admit
to lower growth forecasts for next year,
from 1.2% to 0.8%.

One of the most controversial measures is,
the taxation of 75% for fortunes of more than one million euros,
which has caused much controversy in the country.
Following this, the richest man in France,
Bernard Arnaul
(president of Louis Vuitton),
applied for Belgian nationality.

So much for the socialist miracle Hollande.
