
Anders Borg, Swedish Finance Minister, 
blame the current Portuguese government for the 
financial and economic sitiuation in Portugal.
"The Portuguese government is greatly responsible 
for the current situation in Portugal 
and put their European partners in an even more difficult position 
to decide on a bailout package at such short notice". 
The portuguese government has been responsible 
for an excessive foreign debt which has been 
on a high level for a long time.
There has been many alarming signs 
and the portuguese government was asked
to face up to the situation and take responsibility 
for the debt earlier on.
If the portuguese government 
had done their duty in early October  2010, 
Portugal and Europe would have been 
in a much better situation today!"
Borg also criticized the manner and timing 
in which. the request for a bailout had been made.
The request was given to the EU Commission 
on Thursday night, to be decided on Thursday.
Imposing a request for such an elevated amount 
at such short notice, 
is a too large requirement of other state members,
adding that there are many arguments 
for critiscism in this case.
How long will Sócrates go on lying to the Portuguese??
NO ONE else is to blame but Socrates 
and his Socialist government 
for the current situation in Portugal.
