Coward Socrates

When the moment of truth came,

José Socrates faced the international press,

with a laconic smile,

stayed just a few minutes,

for the opening speech of

Teixeira dos Santos,

the Finance minister,

before arrogantly abandoning

the Parliament.

Equally, while Manuela Ferreira Leite spoke,

the Minister Teixeira dos Santos left the Parliament,

because, as Jorge Lacão,

Minister of parliamentary issues, said,

the discussion was below their dignity!!

WHAT dignity?

After leading the country into bankrupcy,

loss of international trust and credibility,

they still continue arrogant

and full of disdain for their fellow countrymen,

the poor Portuguese.
