The submarine scandal,
which includes corruption and lovers' favours,
while costing the state more than 500 million euros,
combined with the pharonic plans for building
a high velocity TGV rail link from Lisbon to Madrid,
while Portugal is already bankrupt,
with an enormous state deficit
and paying more than 6% in foreign debts,
is completely unsustainable
for the next 20 years, at least.
This last week Mr Socrates, the PM,
announced that the TGV link will cost
1.668 millions
as opposed to the 1.473
announced in May 2010.
NO MONEY; NO VICES!!
as the saying goes!
