The presidential candidate, Manuel Alegre,
has made a ferocious attack
on presidential candidate Cavaco Silva
as Alegre tried to implicate Cavaco Silva
in all kinds of "false" scandals.
Alegre's candidacy has been that of a desperate,
drowning person, marred by daily accusations
and false morality.
But unfortunately, most portuguese
either have a short memory
or were not even born when Alegre,
closed down the famous,
the nearly 100 year-old newspaper,
"O Seculo"
sending 900 workers into unemployment.
As a supposed defender of a social state,
he should have kept quiet,
with such a legacy round his neck.
Worst than that, he commited an illegality,
by participating in a publicity stunt
for a now bankrupt bank, the BPP,
while still a deputy of parliament.
He received payment for his contribution,
and during a single day, presented three different versions
as to what actually happened with the 1,500 euro he received.
The rocks have been raining on his glass roof,
as all his falsehoods are being exposed!!
