After leaving Portugal in utter misery and on the verge of bankrupcy, selling the enormous foreign debt out to the Chinese at an interest rate of 7%, Portuguese Socialists are finally calling for the end of Socrates' disastrous reign as PM.
While on a visit to Macau, the Vice PM, Luis Amado, minister of Foreign Affairs, defended a different kind of governance. Socialist Euro-deputy, Ana Gomes called for a governmental reshuffle, while others cry out for Socrates' replacement,
including the Socialist UGT trade Union leader, Jõao Proença.
