The rude, insulting gesture in the Portuguese Parliament, yesterday, 2nd of July, 2009, by the then Minister of Economy, Manuel Pinho, of Mr. José Socrates' Socialist Government, costs him his government post after he was forced to resign.
The incident happened after a normally heated debate, usually marked by the generalised arrogance, sarcasm and insults which the Prime minister hurls at the opposition, degrading the prestigé of the portuguese Parliament.
